Crathes Castle (National Trust for Scotland) put on celebratory occasion, The Big Draw in a weekend of drawing fun at their prestigious grounds up in Banchory, Aberdeenshire. As creative responses to the Castle's unique 16th century painted ceilings, budding artists made their own versions of the ceiling with spray-paint stencils, printmaking, collage, painting and of course, drawing on panels which will be mounted on Crathes own cafe's ceiling. The work's will be exhibited once hung for a new 21st version of the ceiling! More pics to follow.
