Woodstain and varnish on stair 'panels' removed from the sides of internal concrete stairs in Wellington Tower.


Wendy was the last tenant to vacate Wellington Tower in January 2011. Her top Westmost corner flat enjoyed stunning views; the odd infamous resident amongst a host of well-liked neighbours; a long descent to the outside world on the ground floor and a slightly unnerving sway in high winds that heaved against the heights of the 21st storey.
The stair boarding that makes up a pixelated likeness of a sepia toned photograph, set to fade with time, once encased the sides of people's stairs throughout Wellington Tower.
